We are looking for skilled musicians who are passionate about worship and committed to serving the community in excellence. Due to the high number of people desiring to be in the worship team, we have put in place the following three-step required process for becoming a part of the team. Please note that steps 1 and 2 need to be completed in order to be contacted for step 3.
1) FORM: Please fill out the worship team audition form (below). This includes some basic information and allows us to get to know you a little bit!
FILL OUT WORSHIP AUDITION FORM: HERE (REQUIRED).
2) MP3 RECORDING: Email an MP3 recording of your music to firstname.lastname@example.org. This can be a professional recording or as simple as a voice memo on an iPhone. If you want to be a vocalist, send a recording of you singing along to a worship song. If you’re an instrumentalist, send a recording of you playing along to a worship song. Although it may feel awkward this is a very important step as the MP3 recording eliminates the initial pressure of performing/auditioning for the first time in front of strangers, and it gives us a chance to hear you perform at your best.
3) LIVE AUDITION: Upon receiving your form and MP3 recording we will let you know if we believe you are ready for a live audition. If so, we will contact you to schedule an audition time and discuss how you can prepare. We want to invest in everyone who has a heart for worship. Therefore, if we believe you are not ready at this time for a live audition, we will contact you with encouragement and feedback on how we believe you can continue to invest and train your gift. We really want to train and encourage all musicians in our church!
